Commentary: I had good success using this product to repair damage cause by using perms, hair colors, hot combs and flat irons. It stopped my hair from breaking and shedding. However now that I am in the Natural state without the use of hot appliances, am I moving away from this product line of moisturizers because it contains too many alcohol, petroleum and silicone based ingredients. See more product reviews on this line coming in the next few days.
Stearalkonium Chloride: A chemical used in hair conditioners and creams. Causes allergic reactions. Stearalkonium chloride was developed by the fabric industry as a fabric softener, and is a lot cheaper and easier to use in hair conditioning formulas than proteins or herbals, which do help hair health.
